One commitment.
One less thing to remember.

You don’t need to organize your whole life today. Start with the next pickup, practice or family dinner.

STEP 01

Make room for your people

Open Family week and create your household. Add dependent profiles for children who do not need their own login.

STEP 02

Start with one real plan

Use Create event on the dashboard, or add a commitment in Family week. Check the date, time and calendar before saving.

One real commitment everyone can find.

STEP 03

Invite the other adult

Choose Invite family in your household panel. Send the invitation to their own email address and ask them to accept while signed into that account.

Each adult has their own access.

STEP 04

Agree on who’s doing what

Open Family week, choose a commitment and propose pickup, attendance or backup responsibility. A handoff is agreed when the assigned adult accepts.

A clear agreement, not an assumption.

BRING YOUR EXISTING WEEK

Keep your calendars.
Connect the bigger picture.

Start with a personal account if you’re unsure about work permissions. A connection should make the plan simpler.

G

Google Calendar

  1. Select Connect calendar on your dashboard.
  2. Choose Google and sign in to the intended account.
  3. Review permissions and mark work accounts as work.
  4. Return to Chedoo and check the imported dates.
M

Microsoft Outlook

  1. Choose Microsoft in Connect calendar.
  2. Sign in and review your organization’s consent requirements.
  3. Choose the appropriate work or personal classification.
  4. Check the first sync before relying on availability.

iCloud & CalDAV

  1. Choose a supported provider in Connect calendar.
  2. Create an app-specific password where your provider requires one.
  3. Enter the account details in the secure connection form.
  4. Review sharing and check the imported calendar.

Share availability, keep work details private. Work accounts appear as busy blocks in your family view. Check personal-calendar sharing separately, and follow your employer’s policy.

WHEN SOMETHING NEEDS ATTENTION

Get back to a clear plan.

A calendar that hasn’t updated is not proof that someone is free.

Read the synchronization status

Saved in Chedoo, source sync pending, and source sync failed mean different things. A provider write is complete only after synchronization succeeds. Reconnect when authorization is revoked; use retry for an eligible failed operation.

If a connection needs attention

Check the account you authorized, the provider’s permission screen, and whether the source event still exists. For unsupported recurring edits or all-day source creation, use the Family calendar or the source provider.

  • Do not repeatedly create the same event to work around a delayed sync.
  • For help, include the provider and safe error text, not passwords or tokens.
  • Check dates and timezones after traveling or changing a device timezone.
A family invitation hasn’t arrived

Check the recipient’s email address and spam folder. Ask them to accept while signed in to the intended account. If the invitation has expired, ask a household administrator for a new one.
